Miauricio was an orange kitten surviving alone on the streets until the employees of Geotest, a Mexican geotechnical engineering company, decided to take him in. No one imagined that gesture would turn into something so big.
They gave him an employment contract with his paw print, a badge, a photo ID, and even a uniform with an orange vest and blue helmet for when he “goes out into the field” to supervise concrete samples. Among the benefits they made up for him are seven daily naps and social security that covers everything 100%.
Everything was documented on TikTok by user @lu_iis7, and one of the videos surpassed 1.3 million likes and nearly 10 million views. Before being called Miauricio, they called him “Mica,” until the workers themselves voted on his final name. Today, without exaggeration, he is the office’s favorite employee.
