That was the setting for the secret wedding of One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, a former goalkeeper for the United States national team. It took place in summer 2025, in upstate New York. There was no guest list or cameras. Only Sloane, 5, and Ocean, 4, Harris’s children with her ex-wife Ali Krieger, were there. The children ran happily around the place, and Harris told Vogue it was a beautiful, pressure-free day.
The wedding night wasn’t protocol-heavy either: the whole family ended up roasting marshmallows. Afterward, the couple spent a year traveling across the country to share the news in person with family and friends, one by one.
