Kate Middleton, 44, climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales in less than 24 hours. It was nearly 37 kilometers and more than 3,000 meters of elevation gain, an effort that would test any trained athlete.
She did it for the London hospital where she was treated for cancer. She explained it herself on social media: she wanted to “explore life beyond the diagnosis and give something back”. It was not an empty phrase, but a commitment she fulfilled step by step, mountain after mountain.
