Alexander Skarsgård is 50, has a prestigious career and, apparently, a problem: no one compliments his hair.
The Swedish actor handled it in his own way. On October 20, 2026, he appeared at a screening of *Wicker* in Los Angeles wearing a long gray curly wig, a black jacket, and patterned shorts that didn’t go unnoticed.
When Variety asked him about the makeover, he held nothing back: “I got a little jealous because everyone is praising Olivia’s beautiful hair and its gorgeous color. My hair gets no love. As a narcissistic actor, I need a little attention, so today I put on a beautiful gray wig to match Olivia”. 😂
And the wig was just the beginning. At the film’s red carpet premiere, Skarsgård also wore a T-shirt featuring Olivia Colman’s face and a green-and-purple plaid pleated skirt. He said he wanted to wear something special for her because he adores her.
The film, which they both star in alongside Peter Dinklage and Elizabeth Debicki, blends fantasy, romance, and humor, and opened in theaters on October 23 in some markets.
