No one goes to work thinking their shift will end in a viral video. But that’s what happened to this worker.
The scene took place in San Francisco, California. A camera captured him climbing toward a small opening at the bottom of “R-Evolution”, a sculpture of a woman about 14 meters tall. The image shows a man in a hard hat and orange vest about to climb inside a giant statue.

The sculpture is by artist Marco Cochrane and spent 18 months at Embarcadero Plaza, in front of the Ferry Building. Now crews have begun dismantling it to take it to the artist’s studio, where it will be restored while a potential buyer is sought. The worker was apparently just doing his job.
And yet the question remained: how do you explain to someone that today you got paid to go inside a 14-meter statue?
