She didn’t let go of her baby for a second.

Just days after giving birth, a mother decided not to miss her 5-kilometer race. Halfway through, when her newborn son began crying for food, she didn’t stop completely: she settled him in her arms, breastfed him while walking a few meters, and resumed her pace as soon as she finished.

Those who saw her pass by couldn’t believe the scene: a woman holding her baby against her chest, finishing the race with the same determination with which she had probably faced childbirth weeks earlier. There was no dramatic pause or abandoning the finish line, just a mother handling two urgent needs at the same time: feeding her son and completing her own race.
