When Allen said he was “from America”, she corrected him in English without hesitation: “From the United States. America is the continent.” He replied with complete conviction: “No, no, no. America is a country, not a continent.”
Allen insisted that Chile belonged to something called “South America”, a different continent separate from “America”. She calmly replied: “South America is part of America, the continent”, and looked up a map on her phone to prove it. The video went viral among Latin Americans, who applauded her patience.
