Tsunami did not always have reasons to trust humans. Before becoming a hero, he was rescued from an abusive situation that could have broken him forever.
But something in him endured. With specialized training and a sense of smell that seems almost supernatural, this dog became part of the search and rescue teams working after the earthquakes that shook Venezuela. In Caracas, while collapsed structures buried all hope, Tsunami found 12 people trapped in the rubble and gave them back a chance at life.
Each of his barks beneath the rubble meant a family that could breathe easy again. Today he is a symbol of something you may also have needed to hear: that a second chance, when well used, can become the hope of many others. 🐕✨
