In a rural riverside area of Colombia, this boy recorded a video that brought the internet to a halt: he calls his caiman —which he raised from a young age— saying “little friend, come quickly, I’m getting desperate”, and the reptile calmly emerges from the water to let him clean its teeth with a toothbrush. His mom films from behind and even jokes by asking if they should buy Colgate toothpaste. The clip was so incredible that millions believed it was AI. Heimer recorded a second video getting into the river to prove that Enrique is completely real. 😱
But wildlife experts warn that the animal’s snout appears partially restrained in several shots, and that even a habituated caiman can become lethal without warning. Riverside tradition or serious irresponsibility? What do you think?
