Eleven films, 17 productions, and even an Oscar. But for some, what Brad Pitt should want to get back has absolutely nothing to do with Hollywood.
The 62-year-old actor confessed in an interview with Esquire that he would love to go back to age 50 to make better use of his time and do many more things. However, his reflection also prompted criticism aimed directly at his complicated family situation.
Since his separation from Angelina Jolie in 2016, his relationship with several of his six children has deteriorated. Some have even decided to stop using his surname, like Shiloh and, more recently, Zahara, who obtained court approval to remove it from her name.
That’s why some questioned his words and suggested that, if he really could turn back time, he should think about making up for the years he lost with his children instead of regretting the career opportunities he let pass him by.
That said, Pitt also spoke about his family difficulties during the interview, though he preferred not to go into detail about what had happened.
And that’s the question that ended up hanging over his words: if he could go back to that decade, what should he do differently this time?
