They chanted “Free Top G” while calling for the release of 39-year-old Andrew Tate and his 38-year-old brother Tristan, who have been detained since July 18 under an extradition warrant from the United Kingdom. There, they face 59 charges authorized by the Crown Prosecution Service, including rape, human trafficking, and assault, with seven alleged victims. Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, even said he would appeal directly to Donald Trump and Marco Rubio if his clients were not released.
The video went viral for reasons no one at the protest expected. Social media users dubbed the moment the “Incel Olympics”, mocking the display of force as though it were an audition to impress their idols behind bars. As the gesture became a meme, the brothers remained inside: the next hearing was set for August 27.
