Anne Hathaway surprised her fans by revealing that she spent almost 10 years silently losing vision in one of her eyes. 💔
The actress confessed that she suffered from a premature cataract that severely affected her vision, to the point of becoming practically blind in her left eye.
Most striking is that, during all that time, she continued filming movies and working in Hollywood without speaking publicly about what she was going through.
“It affected my vision so much that I became legally blind in my left eye and ended up undergoing surgery. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was finally able to see well again”, Hathaway said, adding that today she appreciates her vision as “a miracle”.
After the operation, the Oscar winner confessed that she felt deeply grateful to have recovered something that for years she believed she was losing forever. ✨
