Ayesha Howard sought to have child support for her daughter with Anthony Edwards resolved in California, where she hoped to obtain a higher amount. However, a Georgia judge ended up setting the payment at $3,222 per month.
The decision drew attention because the amount is nearly $1,800 less than the $5,000 the Minnesota Timberwolves star had been voluntarily providing since 2025. That said, technically the court did not reduce a previous support payment, but rather established for the first time the official amount he will have to pay for his daughter.
