Igor Lytvynchuk, a tourist from Washington, sparked outrage in Hawaii after being recorded throwing a rock at Lani, an endangered monk seal. 😣
According to witnesses, after the attack the man acted with total arrogance and even boasted that he had enough money to get away with any problem. However, the community’s reaction was quick to come, and a local resident ended up hitting him for what he did to the animal, later being applauded by many island residents.
The video quickly went viral and federal agents finally arrested Lytvynchuk near Seattle. He now faces charges for harassing a protected species and could receive severe legal consequences.
