As a child, Luis Díaz had only one Argentina shirt and a lie he repeated proudly: that Messi had given it to him. His friends believed him only because he was the leader of the group.
Years later, when he finally met his idol, he told him the whole story without expecting anything in return. As if confessing a white lie.
Messi listened to him and replied with something Luis never forgot: ‘Bring me that shirt, I’ll sign it for you and we’ll turn that lie into the truth’.
