On the one hand, many mothers argue that breastfeeding is a right and a personal decision: “No one should have an opinion on how I feed my child”, they say. On the other side, there are those who maintain that after a certain age, breastfeeding creates emotional dependence and that social pressure on mothers to continue is also a real problem. 💬
