Jordan Taylor left college to work at a supermarket, but his real lesson came in front of a juice cooler. There he met Jack, a young man with autism who watched him in silence. Jordan heard a voice inside him: “Ask him if he wants to help you”. Seeing the young man’s curiosity, Jordan simply handed him a bottle and invited him to join the task. Jack accepted immediately and, with astonishing concentration, worked side by side with the employee for more than 30 minutes.

The Edwards family described the moment as a “miracle”. Jack rarely managed to connect or participate in everyday activities that way because of his level of autism.

Most incredible of all is that the community responded by creating a GoFundMe so Jordan can return to college.
