Charles Duke walked on the Moon in April 1972, during the Apollo 16 mission. He was 36 years old and became the youngest person to do so.

Now, at 91, he says UFOs don’t come from other planets, but are demonic entities. He said so in an interview with the Christian network CBN and supported his idea with a passage from the Bible, 2 Corinthians 11:14, which warns that Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. According to Duke, the deception is meant to lead people away from God.

But the most striking part is how he reached that conclusion. He said he asked God for a sign: that a close friend who never talked about UFOs would bring up the subject at breakfast the next day. And that’s exactly what happened. To him, that coincidence was the answer he was looking for.

Although he traveled into space and spent more than 21 hours outside the spacecraft, he admits he never saw a UFO during his career. His theory comes from his faith, not from what he observed, and he presented no scientific evidence. It’s a personal belief, not an official NASA position. What do you think: coincidence or a sign?
