Maria Vitória Gomes da Silva is 24 and has a visual impairment, but that did not stop her from moving forward and achieving one of her major professional goals. After completing her law degree, she sat the exam required to practice as a lawyer in Brazil and passed on her first attempt.
The achievement became fully real when she officially received her lawyer’s credentials in Goiás. For her, that moment was not just the end of an academic chapter, but also confirmation that all the effort of the past few years had been worthwhile.
As she celebrated, Maria Vitória offered special thanks to her family for supporting her throughout the process, and also to God, whom she credited with giving her some of the strength she needed to get there.
At just 24, she can already add something she had dreamed about for a long time to her story: officially becoming a lawyer and beginning a new chapter doing what she chose for her life.
