Sergio Ramos is 40 years old and has a body that seems to defy the calendar.

Currently without a club, the Spanish defender revealed the formula behind that physique, which remains intact after decades of European football. He trains while fasting between two and three times a week, without having breakfast, and only afterward has a protein shake. In his meals, he alternates salads with fish and meat, always seeking that balance which, as he explains, the body eventually asks for on its own once discipline becomes a habit.

But there is one exception that draws attention: once a month, he allows himself a hamburger with mayonnaise. His logic is simple. If you take care of yourself for 29 days, the remaining day does not undo anything. At 40, Ramos shows that the secret lies not in total deprivation, but in balance sustained over time.
