“He isn’t heavy, he’s my grandson”. ❤️

With those simple words, Fernando Murta summed up all the love he feels for his grandson Enzo, a 17-year-old autistic young man.

A photograph of the two moved thousands of people: Fernando carries Enzo in his arms as they share a special moment, dancing to the rhythm of a song by Andrea Bocelli. The image was shared by Lages Handiara, Fernando’s wife and Enzo’s grandmother, in a Facebook group related to autism.

More than just a photograph, that moment shows a bond built on affection, patience, and companionship. For Fernando, carrying his grandson wasn’t a burden: it was simply another way to be by his side and make him happy.

Because love is also shown this way: by holding, supporting, and enjoying together those little moments that end up becoming treasured memories.
