Dolly Parton was 75, but she still had the same mischievous spirit as ever ❤️. In 1978, she had appeared on the cover of Playboy wearing the classic bunny costume, an image that over the years became one of the most memorable of her career. More than four decades later, she decided to bring it out of the past for a very special reason.
Her husband, Carl Dean, had always been a fan of that cover, and his birthday was approaching. So Dolly put on the ears, bow tie, cuffs, and a black outfit inspired by the original once again to surprise the man she had been married to for more than 50 years.

But she did not simply put on a costume. Dolly had a photograph from 1978 framed alongside a new image of herself recreating the look and personally gave it to Carl. “He probably thinks I’m still a sexy girl after 57 years, and I’m not going to try to convince him otherwise”, she joked at the time.
The singer had said years earlier that she would love to pose for Playboy again at 75. The magazine no longer had a print edition when the time came, so she decided to fulfill that wish in her own way.
43 years after that cover, Dolly became a bunny again. This time, she did not need to appear in any magazine: she only wanted to bring a smile to the man she had loved for a lifetime ❤️.
