Graham Barker, a librarian from Perth, Australia, turned a rather strange curiosity into a world record.

For 26 years he collected lint from his own belly button every morning before showering, until he amassed 22,1 grams stored in jars separated by color.

In 2010, Guinness recognized him for having the largest collection of its kind, and later he even sold three jars to a museum for an undisclosed sum.

Although he admits that the material is worth nothing on its own, he says the collection has value because of how rare and unexpected it is.
