Dragon was an adorable fawn born with a unique appearance: a white face and blue eyes. While beautiful to humans, his mother rejected and immediately attacked him at birth.
His life seemed destined for pain, but he soon found a second chance when he was rescued by the Deer Tracks Junction sanctuary in Michigan.
There, he formed a special bond with the owner, Hilary Powell, who became his surrogate mother, providing all the care his extremely delicate health required.
Dragon became an international celebrity, but sadly, his life was brief, and he passed away just before his first birthday.
Though heartbroken, his caregivers celebrated having given him a happy, dignified life he never would have found in the wild. 🥺❤️
