After 24 years without celebrating a World Cup, Brazilian fans received a promise as unexpected as it was tempting.
The Brazilian beer brand Brahma announced that it will give away beer cans across the country if Brazil manages to win the 2026 World Cup and claims the long-awaited sixth title in its history.
The campaign is based on a very particular idea: to compensate fans for all the celebrations they were unable to have since 2002, the year Ronaldo Nazário led them to the championship.
According to the brand, Brazilians will be able to “drink everything they didn’t drink” during more than two decades of waiting.
