It was 2016, and a Norwegian under-17 teenager was bored at training camp. Instead of watching Netflix, he decided to start a rap group. 🎤

That’s how Flow Kingz was born, the trio Erling Haaland formed with his teammates Erik Botheim and Erik Tobias Sandberg. He took the stage name Lyng, they recorded just one song called “Kygo Jo”, and that was it. No album, no tour, no second single. But the video became an internet meme and today, almost ten years later, it has racked up 17 million views on YouTube. 😂

Haaland never picked up a microphone again. Instead, he became a goal machine and will now try to take Norway into the quarterfinals against Brazil at the World Cup. Did you know about this hidden side of the striker, or are you just finding out now? 👀⚽
