Lisa Kudrow was pregnant during the fourth season of Friends, and the writers incorporated the pregnancy into the plot: Phoebe became a surrogate mother to the triplets of her half-brother.
Before each taping, the cast would form a circle and say to one another, ‘have a good show, love you’. During the pregnancy, they added ‘love you, little Julian’, because they already knew it was a boy and that was his name, as the actress told People in 2018.
Julian Murray Stern was born on May 7, 1998. In May 2021, at age 23, he graduated with a degree in film and television production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. Kudrow shared a photo on Instagram of herself hugging him and wrote that she was proud, happy, and crying a little: ‘by me, not him’.
The photo has circulated again on social media as a capsule of nostalgia, even though the graduation took place more than five years ago. Today, Julian would be 28 years old and works as an actor and editor.
