Aaron Rodgers held nothing back. On the podcast “Not Just Football”, the former quarterback recounted how his engagement to Shailene Woodley ended with a phrase that left everyone speechless: “Before we get married, I have to sleep with this guy”, he says she told him just days after he proposed to her.
They got engaged in late 2020 and publicly confirmed it in February 2021. According to Rodgers, by March she had already taken off the ring. “Her story is that I ruined her life and caused her a terrible depression because I left her”, he said, “but the reality is that she told me that, and there wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break up”.
As those words begin circulating again, Shailene is living through a completely different chapter: today she is an acclaimed actress with an Emmy in hand, far from the noise her ex insists on stirring up again.
