Some fans become fans over the years. Bologna fans practically become fans at birth by municipal decree.
The Italian club announced an initiative called “From the Start, Forza Bologna”: all boys and girls born in the municipality of Bologna will receive the team’s official shirt.
It comes in a special box in the rossoblù colors and is handed out in hospitals, with the collaboration of the city council and Macron, the brand that outfits the club.
According to the announcement, the idea is to bring the club closer to its people and the local community, fostering an affectionate bond from day one. A Bologna board member put it this way.
