World of Olive thought she had found the perfect solution to keep her daughter entertained at the beach.
The mother had a tattoo with an empty frame on her thigh. She placed a homemade temporary design shaped like a coloring page in the space and let her daughter color it with markers while they were by the sea.
She shared it on social media as a “parenting hack”: a trick to keep little ones busy without bringing notebooks or extra supplies.
The video went viral, but not everyone applauded. “Or maybe they could play at the beach?” one user wrote. “Or a coloring book? That would be much better”, said another. Some went further and questioned how many tattoos she has and the example that, they said, she sets for her young daughter.
Others see the activity as an original way to spend time together, as long as the materials are safe for the girl’s skin.
