In Buncombe County, North Carolina, six black bears were euthanized after entering homes looking for food among trash and leftovers left by humans. 💔
The most painful part was that a mother bear died along with two of her cubs, because authorities said they had already “learned” that behavior.
They did not die for being cruel. They did not die for attacking. They died because they were hungry and found food where people had not secured it.
And that is why many are asking the same thing: was there really no other solution before taking their lives? 😓
