Doctors say he needs urgent surgery, but he prefers to keep dancing this way
Herson Steven León Valdés was born in Colombia with congenital multiple arthrogryposis, an unusual condition that caused his legs to develop with his “knees facing backward”.
After more than six surgeries during his childhood and years of painful treatments, doctors were unable to straighten his limbs. For many, the diagnosis was definitive.
However, Herson refused to hide. Nicknamed on social media as “Un Tal Arañita”, he discovered that music and dance were his best therapy.
With rhythm, ease, and overflowing charisma, he began dancing in the streets and sharing his videos online.
