BORN WITHOUT THE USE OF HIS LEGS. YET EVERY MORNING HE GOES OUT TO SELL HIS BURRITOS

On a street corner in Ciudad Juárez, Moy waits with two burritos and a soft drink ready, fifty pesos for the combo, the same offer every day.

His name is Moisés Cuéllar Hernández, he is 24 years old, and he was born with a motor disability that robs him of movement from the waist down. No one gave him anything. He chose to station himself there every morning, selling what he cooked with his own hands.

Those who buy from him always tell the same story. The smile comes first, the kind treatment afterward, the willingness to serve ahead of any pity. He doesn’t ask for compassion. He asks for customers.

Moy is a Chivas de Guadalajara fan with his whole heart. His dream is neither big nor impossible. To someday enter that stadium and see up close the players he has followed from his street corner.

Until that day arrives, he keeps showing up, selling. Because some victories aren’t played on a field, but are won standing firm on a street corner, every day, without fail.
