Floyd Mayweather Jr. addressed the rumors pointing to an alleged financial crisis and categorically denied having lost his fortune.
The former undefeated world champion dismissed claims that he is going through financial problems. “I still have all my houses, I still have everything”, he said during an interview in response to the rumors.
Speculation about his wealth grew after some legal disputes and the cancellation of exhibitions, but Mayweather insisted that his financial situation remains solid.
He also explained that the exhibition fights he has taken part in in recent years are not due to a need for money, but are part of his strategy to continue generating income and stay active outside boxing.
