Ollie Trezise, a 21-month-old boy from Wales, was born with a rare congenital condition called encephalocele, which caused part of his brain tissue to grow through a small opening in his skull toward his nose. 😣

As a result, he developed a very distinctive protrusion that his mother, Amy Poole, lovingly describes as her “real-life Pinocchio.” However, that same condition has also exposed him to cruel comments and teasing because of his appearance.

Because of this, Ollie has undergone several surgeries to help him breathe better and correct the defect, but despite what has been a challenging journey, his family highlights his joy and the way he continues to face each stage.

Although he will need more procedures in the future as his skull grows, today he lives a peaceful life, enjoying his childhood and playing with his sister. 🥹❤️
