A 12-year-old boy had to make the hardest decision of his life to save his best friend from a violent environment. 💔
It all happened in February 2020, when Andrés left his pitbull puppy at the door of a shelter in Michoacán, Mexico, along with a handwritten note confessing that his father beat the dog and planned to sell him.
The shelter named the pup René. After posting the moving letter, the story became so massive they received over 300 adoption requests.
For unknown reasons, the dog was never adopted, but a year later, it was confirmed that Andrés’ brave gesture brought peace to everyone: he and his mother managed to move out and finally separate from the father, starting a new life free from abuse. 😭❤️
