Samuel Henderson, an 11-year-old boy with autism and Tourette syndrome, spent years practicing alone in his schoolyard a very unusual talent: imitating the songs of more than 50 birds. 🐦❤️

Almost no one knew about his ability until he decided to enter his school’s talent show in Oklahoma, becoming the first special education student to participate.

His mom was afraid the other kids would make fun of him, but when Samuel began making the bird sounds on stage, his classmates were completely fascinated.

That was how he went from practicing alone at recess to becoming one of the most beloved kids at school.
Two years after that incredible event, Samuel returned to the stage with new imitations to say goodbye to the place where he finally felt accepted. 🥹❤️
