The painkillers she took for her scapula fracture caused such severe constipation that she went more than a week without being able to go to the bathroom. When her body finally reacted, everything happened at once: an uncontrolled bowel movement left her unconscious on the floor of her own bathroom. Her husband, wrestler Bryan Danielson, found her like that and called 911 without hesitation.
Already in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, Brie realized that she had completely soiled herself without noticing. She had to remain that way, in dirty clothes, for hours while doctors ran tests to check her hydration before allowing her to clean herself up. It was Bryan himself who ended up helping her clean up. Today, the story is a recurring joke at home, between her, her children Birdie and Buddy, and her sister Nikki, who heard her tell the whole story on her podcast. 🚑💛
