Dan Bevis, a 25-year-old Briton, traveled to Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote to celebrate his bachelor party with his friends, but just two hours after leaving his luggage at the hotel and after having had only three glasses of beer, he suffered a terrible accident when he fell backward from a six-meter-high wall, landing on the pavement and losing consciousness with a severe head hemorrhage.

His friend, desperate, stayed holding his head in an attempt to stop the bleeding while three ambulances and the police arrived at the scene. Dan was quickly taken to the hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care and placed in an induced coma, and was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and multiple fractures that put his life at risk.

Dan’s fiancée, Kirsty Elvins, 27, traveled with the couple’s son to be by his side, although she clarified that Dan had only had a couple of beers and that the accident was an unfortunate coincidence, women on social media insisted that this type of celebration is dangerous and that “men shouldn’t have bachelor parties”, declaring that these events always end badly.
