The family of Ryan Pepper, a 27-year-old British father, urgently asked for help after reporting that he has remained imprisoned in the United Arab Emirates since November 2025 without being formally charged or brought before a court. According to his relatives, the young man says he does not know why he was detained.
Through handwritten notes smuggled out of prison, Pepper recounted that he was beaten for 19 consecutive days and that four teeth were pulled out with pliers during a torture session. He also reported overcrowding, threats, and being unable to communicate with his family.
His sister, Chloe, said that the family spent weeks without knowing where he was and that they now fear for his life.
