The University of Oxford published a study that is splitting the internet in two. 🔬 According to research led by evolutionary biologist Dr. Matilda Brindle, kissing a close friend is a behavior inherited from primates to strengthen social bonds — and it has no relation whatsoever to sexual orientation.

The data also show that younger generations have already normalized physical contact between male friends, and that repressing it has real costs for men’s mental health: more loneliness, fewer support networks. 💙
But in the comments, science matters little. While some say “it’s time to leave prejudice behind”, others respond with a blunt “I love my friends, but from a distance”. Do you think physical affection between male friends should be normalized, or are there limits that shouldn’t be crossed? 🤔
