Cardi B’s children’s school day ends at 3 in the afternoon. Their real day doesn’t.
The rapper shared this on Jay Shetty’s *On Purpose* podcast in October 2025: four times a week, the kids have reading and math tutoring at home. Kulture, the oldest, also takes piano and gymnastics lessons. Wave plays sports and has tutoring too. Are they tired? Sleepy? It doesn’t matter: all of it is mandatory in their home.

“They have to be better than me. There are things I can’t do that I want my kids to do”, she said. To her, it’s discipline, a habit she wants to instill from an early age. There’s a very personal reason behind it: her parents worked and couldn’t always afford classes for her or accompany her, and she never even learned to swim.

She clarified that she doesn’t expect perfect kids, but she does expect them to be “a hundred times better” than she is. And she trusts that one day they’ll understand why she insists so much, even if they cry about it today. What do you think of this kind of parenting?
