Cardi B took the stage at Don Toliver’s concert in Brooklyn wearing a tight white catsuit that left much of her back and curves exposed. The rapper had even shared first-person images to show off the daring look.
But a video recorded from the audience showed the outfit from another angle, and the reaction on social media completely changed.
In the images, some users began mocking the appearance of her buttocks and her well-known BBL, a procedure the artist has undergone.
“Yikes”, one person wrote.
Others were much harsher: “These BBLs are killing everyone”, one user commented, while another compared her figure to a “meat sausage”.
The criticism continued with comments like “a perfect visual representation of her career” and “what a horror, my God, what an ugly mess!”.
The performance took place during Don Toliver’s concert at the Barclays Center, where Cardi appeared as a surprise guest and performed alongside the rapper. Her outfit, however, ended up becoming one of the most talked-about elements of the night.
Once again, social media showed that the same look can appear completely different depending on the angle and the camera capturing it.
