Everyone knows Diego Simeone for what he earns on the field. Almost no one knows who runs the family’s other business.
According to the Spanish program “Equipo de investigación”, Simeone and his wife Carla Pereyra founded Carpersim SL, which is dedicated to property development, management and buying and selling real estate.
In 2024, its assets were estimated at 39,7 million euros, spread across around 180 apartments and seven buildings, mostly in Madrid’s Salamanca and Chamberí neighborhoods.
Expert Cote Villar was direct about who is in charge: “Carla Pereyra is the driving force behind Simeone’s real estate business; she knows the sector well”. Pereyra, 39 and from a family of architects, had been investing in properties since she was very young. The couple have been together since 2013, married in 2019 and have two daughters.
Who would have thought that the biggest impact of the Simeone name in Madrid isn’t made on the pitch at the Metropolitano?
