Casper was only 20 months old when 11 coyotes surrounded the pen in Decatur, Georgia. Inside were Daisy, his pregnant companion, and the flock of sheep he watched over. Casper did not hesitate: he killed 3 coyotes inside the pen, jumped a fence more than a meter high, and kept fighting outside. 🐾
In the end, he had faced all 11 and defeated 8. Then he disappeared for two days. His owners believe he went to track down the ones that remained. They found him with torn skin and injuries so severe that the veterinarian doubted he would survive. He lost his tail, underwent several surgeries… and made it out alive. 💪
A year later, he was nominated for Farm Dog of the Year and won the People’s Choice award with more than 100,000 votes. Today he lives retired on the farm, enjoying his Wendy’s hamburgers as a reward. “Good boy” does not even begin to describe him. 🐕❤️
