She wasn’t the only one who had to wait. Harrison Ford was 34 and supporting his family by doing carpentry work when he was finally cast in Star Wars, in 1977. Morgan Freeman received his first Oscar nomination only at 50, for Street Smart. Bryan Cranston was 51 when Breaking Bad premiered in 2008 and turned him into a television legend. Jennifer Coolidge won her first Emmy at 61, for The White Lotus.
