He was playing, like any child. Until he stuck his head between the bars of a fence and couldn’t get it out.

The scene unfolded in New York, and one call was all it took for the city’s firefighters to arrive. It wasn’t a fire or a collapse, but for that family, time had stood still. A child trapped, fear on his face, and his parents not knowing what to do.
The firefighters didn’t resort to heavy machinery. Using a sling and an iron bar, they secured other metal rods around one of the bars and bent it enough to open a gap. No rushing, no forcing the child. A solution so simple it seemed obvious only after seeing it.
The rescue video was shared by a user with a short message: “Thank you, New York Fire Department”.
Because something like this can happen to any child, including yours. And knowing there’s such a simple way to handle it is a little reassuring.
