While almost everyone uses social media to gain followers, @yo_soy_el_more found another purpose: walking the streets of Colombia with bags of food, looking for those no one notices.
There is no choreography or challenge. Just dogs and cats that sometimes have gone days without eating, and a young man who shows up with food and some time for them. His videos filled up with comments from people calling him a hero, although he probably never set out to be one.
Animal abandonment continues to hit hard in many Latin American cities, and these gestures do not solve the underlying problem. But for a dog that ate today thanks to him, that bowl of food took care of its whole day. Sometimes helping requires nothing more than that: showing up.
