Ebanie Bridges spoke about her sponsorship deal with Forged Irish Stout, the brand linked to Conor McGregor. The Australian boxer told Lucky Block that she wasn’t sponsored just for her appearance: “I haven’t been sponsored just because I have breasts and I’m blonde”.
She also praised McGregor for contributing to combat sports instead of keeping all the money for himself. The brand’s support extends to more athletes: in an October 2023 statement, Forged Irish Stout included Katie Taylor and Anthony Joshua, among other athletes, among its sponsored athletes. “He could keep all that money and he doesn’t”, Bridges said.
