According to her, these celebrations are so extravagant because for many young women “it is the closest they will ever get to getting married”. Her argument is based on the idea that, supposedly, current culture prioritizes having children before marriage.
“The Black community is not going to be able to get married”, Sasha claimed, insisting that her words are backed by marriage statistics.
